## 概述

白鹤芋属 Spathiphyllum（白掌、和平百合）属天南星科。Kew 记载的原生范围很特别：墨西哥至热带美洲，另有一支在马来群岛和西太平洋。RHS 说室内常见的白鹤芋来自中美洲和哥伦比亚的热带森林；它虽然英文叫 peace lily，但属于天南星科，不是百合。WCVP 记常见的 S. wallisii 原生于哥伦比亚和委内瑞拉。

## 分类与形态

本属由 Schott 1832 年发表。CATE Araceae 的属描述：常绿草本，茎短，直立到匍匐，常看起来无茎，有时有匍匐枝；佛焰苞膜质到近革质，完全展开，通常白色，少数绿色，结果时转绿；肉穗花序圆柱形，直立，短于佛焰苞，通常有柄。本页头图是 1880 年《L’Illustration horticole》的 Spathiphyllum patinii。

## 室内栽培与安全

RHS 建议放在明亮的散射光下，比如离窗稍远、避开夏季强光的地方；太暗长得慢，也难开花。普通室温 12–24 °C 即可，远离暖气和冷风。缺水时植株会明显萎垂，浇水后通常很快恢复；自来水里的氟会损伤叶片，最好用雨水或过滤水；喜中等湿度。花主要在春夏开放，能维持数月，最后转绿；光线不足是不开花的最常见原因。

RHS 提醒白鹤芋有毒，处理时戴手套，放在儿童和宠物接触不到的地方。ASPCA 把白鹤芋列为对狗和猫有毒，所含不溶性草酸钙会引起口腔、舌和嘴唇的强烈灼痛，以及大量流涎、呕吐和吞咽困难。
