## 概述

菊属属于菊科，属名来自希腊语的“金”和“花”。花店用的栽培菊花是本属的杂交类群 Chrysanthemum × morifolium。名字里带“菊”的雏菊、非洲菊、波斯菊等，在 WCVP 中分属不同的属。

## 分类与命名

Chrysanthemum 由林奈于 1753 年在《植物种志》中发表。二十世纪曾有学者把栽培菊花等种移入 Dendranthema 属，中文旧文献里常见这一写法；WCVP 目前把 Dendranthema 列为本属的异名。
